Can the APA fund a Veloped or Walker?
Yes, in many cases. The Personalised Autonomy Allowance (APA), managed by the Departmental Council (Conseil Départemental), can fund equipment that is not on the LPPR list — which often applies to premium models such as the Trionic Veloped or Walker.
Explicitly mention the need for a walking aid during the at-home assessment by the medico-social team. The decision and the amount depend on your situation and your département. We can provide a quotation and a product sheet to include in your file.
