Hello! How can we help you?

My brake is worn out, how do I change it?

If the brake pads on the brakes on your Veloped/Walker get worn out, you will need to replace the brakes in order to ensure a proper brake function.

Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Detach the rear wheel.

Step 2. On the inside of the brake, unscrew and remove the 3 screws with a Phillips screwdriver and then remove the black plastic brake cover.

Step 3. Compress the brake and you can “unhook” and remove the brake cable from the brake, through the 2 cable slots.

Step 4. Unscrew and remove the screw that holds the brake with a 4mm Allen key.

Step 5. Attach the new brake with the 4mm Allen key.

Step 6. Push the cable adjuster screw into the brake, align its nut, and pull the brake cable end through the slot of the brake and attach it.

Step 7. Attach the black plastic cover with the 3 screws (Phillips screwdriver).

Step 8. Attach the wheel and test the brake.

Step 9. If the brake tension needs to be adjusted, please see separate instructions for this.

Expensive but worth the quality of life it brings. As opposed to an ordinary walker. The first day I walked 5 miles around an indoor shopping mall. I was tired at the end of it. But something I could never have done before. I have used it on rough gr…

  • Good Robust Walking Aid…

I am very pleased with my new Trionic walker. The main reason I bought it was that my previous walker had small solid tyred wheels and was very uncomfortable on my arms and wrists particularly if the ground was uneven.

  • Never again without it!…

    In spring I was saying:
If I can't walk better until autumn, I will buy an all-terrain rollator for the vacation in the mountains.

My walking didn’t get better and my back was always crooked while walking. My son helped me with the search and the…

  • Remarkable...…

Sturdy, beautiful, simple to "assemble" (just attach the wheels) and a pleasure to use; enables me to walk my dog endlessly, whether on city streets or down country lanes, and even on the beach, in spite of the arthritis that has limited much of my d…

  • Top class rollator…

The Veloped Sport 12er I ordered arrived super packed and the assembly was done in a few minutes. The safe and reliable brakes are particularly noteworthy. Thanks to the pneumatic tyres and the handles, there is no pain in the upper arm, shoulder and…
