Hello! How can we help you?

Why is the Veloped stated to be a three-wheeler, but it has four wheels?

The Veloped, a mobility aid designed with four wheels, is often referred to as a 3-wheeler due to its unique design, which includes a double front wheel. This design, offering added stability and manoeuvrability, has made it a popular choice among individuals with mobility issues, caregivers, and healthcare professionals seeking a versatile, easy-to-use solution that can go over uneven terrain.

The two front wheels are part of the Trionic Front Wheel Climbing technology. A patented solution which takes you over uneven terrain with a fraction of the force you would need with a regular one if it is even possible. However, the two front wheels work closely together and are considered to be one support point in the overall design.

  • My new sense of balance…

My father-in-law is 86 years young and has visual and balance problems. When he walks (like a penguin), with his legs apart and with splayed arms, he has to concentrate very hard on his balance, which makes him so fatigued that he starts to falter af…

I am very pleased with the Veloped Sport; it has helped my walking and my back a lot. It is heavier than I had expected especially pushing it uphill. However, at 90, it has given me a new lease of life.…

  • Just fantastic!…

  • Excellent Product…

We purchased this walker for our 14-year-old daughter, a brain cancer survivor who has no vestibular function so that she could use it to go into the countryside and at Guide camp. It took some getting used to because she has been using a posterior w…

  • Finally, it is possible to be active in a relaxed way again!…

At the age of 54, due to a sudden illness, I went in a very short time from being an active athlete to someone who only walks unsteadily, with small, wide-legged steps and in pain. This slow and forced walking also caused me severe Achilles tendiniti…

  • It doesn't get any better!…

Never will I forego the great tool which has given me back so much joy of life! Because of multiple sclerosis I was unfortunately no longer able to move about in nature. This led to great annoyance for me during holidays on the North Sea. No walking …

  • For my 95 Year Old Mother…

I purchased the Veloped Trek 14er for my mother, who is 95, and recently moved to our rural home where there are no paved walkways. The Veloped had enabled her to manoeuvre over loose gravel and grass ground independently. I like everything about it;…

  • No comparison…

After using a standard walker for a couple of years I realised it wasn't being helpful for me. I decided after reading about the veloped walker to try one but dealt direct with Stefan in Sweden, so easy and so quick nothing too much trouble, the qual…
