How do I adjust the brake cable tension on my Veloped/Walker?

To ensure that you can use your Veloped/Walker safely, with time you need to adjust the brakes as they get worn. Adjusting the brakes does not require any tools and you’ll also find instructions in your manual.

Just follow these simple steps: 

Step 1. Adjust the adjustment screw on the brake lever with your fingers. If you screw the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (outwards) you tighten the brake, and if you screw the adjuster screw clockwise (inwards) you loosen the brake.

Step 2.After you have adjusted the brake tension with the adjuster screw, fix it in place by screwing the black nut clockwise until it stops against the main body of the brake lever.

Step 3. Test the brake function to ensure that you can both engage the motion brake and also the parking brake.
