Can a rollator be taken to the cabin when I fly?
Due to the limited space in the cabin, rollators and walkers are carried as checked baggage free of charge. If you need help moving around at the airport, you can request a wheelchair in advance.
To ensure a pleasant flight, the airline usually kindly asks you to inform them in advance if you have any kind of disability, reduced mobility, visual or hearing impairment or mental health disorder that requires special attention at the airport or during your flight.
But in order to travel without issues, you must pre-book assistance no later than 48 hours before your departure through your airline. It’s a good idea to pre-book your assistance when you book your flight so that the airline can help you at the airport.
