How do I change the grips on my Veloped?

This is instructions on how to change the grips on your Veloped


Just follow these simple steps: 

Step 1. Set the right and left side vertical grip tubes at the same height.

Step 2. Loosen the screw on the clamp at the rear of the grip (3 mm or 4 mm Allen key depending on the grip).

Step 3. Loosen the two screws that clamps the U-shaped grip bar to the vertical grip tube with a 5 mm Allen key.

Step 4.Pull the grip bar out of the vertical grip tube.

Step 5. Remove the grip from the grip bar.

Step 6. On the new grip, unscrew the screw on the clamp a little.

Step 7.Slide the new grip onto the grip bar, but do not yet fasten the clamp.

Step 8. Push the grip bar back into the clamp of the vertical grip tube.

Step 9. Push the plastic end cap into the end of the grip bar tube and position the grip bar so that the end cap is flush with the clamp of the vertical grip tube.

Step 10. Fasten the two screws that clamp the grip bar to the vertical grip tube with the 5 mm Allen key.

Step 11. Adjust the grip to your preferred angle, and fasten the grip with the 3 mm or 4 mm Allen key.

Step 12. Repeat steps 1-11 above in order to change the grip on the opposite side.
