Rollators Ireland – Premium Walking Aids Delivered Free

Trionic is a Swedish manufacturer of premium rollators trusted by thousands of people across Ireland. Our Walker and Veloped rollators feature pneumatic air tyres, patented Syncro steering, and a 10-year warranty — built for Irish conditions, from city streets and cobblestones to coastal paths and country lanes.

Rollator models available in Ireland

We offer three rollator families to suit different needs and terrain:

  • Trionic Walker — our flagship outdoor rollator, available in 9″, 12″ and 14″ pneumatic tyre sizes. Hub brakes for reliable stopping on slopes, Syncro steering for effortless turning.
  • Trionic Veloped Tour — a city rollator with a comfortable 30 cm padded seat, storage basket, and climbing front wheel. Perfect for shopping trips, parks, and everyday errands.
  • Trionic Veloped Trek — terrain rollator designed for hiking and adventure. Pneumatic tyres and a climbing front wheel handle everything from gravel paths to woodland trails.

Free delivery and free returns across Ireland

We deliver all rollators to the Republic of Ireland with free shipping via UPS or DHL with full tracking. Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days. If for any reason the rollator doesn't suit you, returns are free within 30 days — no questions asked.

Why choose Trionic over a pharmacy rollator?

Pharmacy rollators typically use small solid wheels designed for indoor use on smooth floors. Trionic rollators use large pneumatic air tyres — the same principle as a bicycle — which absorb vibration, roll over kerbs and cobblestones effortlessly, and dramatically reduce the jarring transmitted to hands, wrists, and shoulders. The difference on Irish footpaths and streets is immediate.

Every Trionic rollator also comes with a 10-year warranty and is built to last decades, not months.

Is VAT charged on rollators in Ireland?

No. Rollators are classified as medical devices and are zero-rated for VAT under Schedule 2 of the Value Added Tax Consolidation Act 2010. The price shown in our shop is the price you pay — no VAT is added for Irish customers.

HSE and mobility aid funding in Ireland

Several schemes can help cover the cost of a rollator:

  • HSE Mobility Aids Grant Scheme — means-tested grant of up to €6,000 toward mobility equipment at home. Apply through your local HSE office with an occupational therapist assessment.
  • Medical Card (PCRS) — Medical card holders may qualify for a rollator through the Primary Care Reimbursement Service. Your GP or OT can initiate a referral.
  • PRSI Treatment Benefit — PRSI contributors can claim toward certain medical appliances. Check eligibility at your local Intreo office.
  • Department of Social Protection — Disability Allowance recipients may qualify for additional equipment grants.

We can provide a product specification sheet and pricing letter to support any application — contact our customer service team and we will send documentation within one working day.

Try before you buy

We understand that choosing a rollator is important. Trionic offers a 30-day home trial on selected models, and our Irish agents can arrange in-person demonstrations. Contact us to book a consultation or demo near you.
