The short version: standard rollators stop where life gets interesting. Trionic was founded to fix that — to build a walking aid that belongs outdoors, not just in the corridor.
Trionic was founded in Uppsala, Sweden, on a simple frustration: the rollator had barely changed in decades, and it was built for flat indoor floors — not for the gravel paths, cobblestones, forests and snow where people actually want to walk.
Our founders, a team of Swedish engineers and designers, set out to rethink the walking frame from the wheels up. The result was the Veloped — an all-terrain rollator with large air-filled tyres, a patented climbing wheel and synchronised steering that holds its line on a slope. It went where no rollator had gone before, and it gave its users something a corridor frame never could: the outdoors back.
Where most mobility brands compete on price and folding size, Trionic competes on where the product can take you. Big pneumatic wheels (9, 12 and 14 inches) absorb the ground instead of fighting it. Sealed hub brakes work in rain, mud and snow. A high-grade aluminium frame keeps every Walker under 10 kg — outdoor ability without the weight penalty.
We don't build aids. We build vehicles for walking.
Mission — to give people with reduced mobility the confidence to keep walking, outdoors, in every season and on every surface.
Vision — a world where a mobility aid is something you choose to take outside, not something that keeps you in. Designed in Sweden, built to last, used in over 60 countries.

After a stroke, John couldn't manage the uneven path to his allotment. With a Veloped Trek he's back to growing vegetables — and last autumn walked a forest trail for the first time in three years.
Margaret's arthritis made a standard rollator painful on paving. The 14" air tyres absorbed the shocks — daily walks went from a chore she avoided to something she looks forward to.
A balance condition ended Erik's golf — until a Veloped Golf let him walk 18 holes again, scorecard and all. Before: housebound by winter. After: out in every season.
