Product Review

It has made my world bigger!

What was your concern with this review?

I'm a 62-year-old woman from the Netherlands and last year I suffered a CVA, which caused my right side to be permanently unusable. So since then, I have been stuck in a wheelchair.

During the last year, I went through therapy to try and recover some use/movement of my right arm and leg. During the therapy, I met a fellow patient who had a lot of benefits from a Trionic Veloped to help him walk again.
As it turns out, the Trionic Veloped is the only walker you can use with one hand.

Its all-terrain wheels make it possible to walk everywhere – on uneven pavement, curbs, and cobbles and get by with limited ability in one of the legs.

I asked for information directly from Stephan at Trionic, and he answered all my questions very kindly and directly over both mail and telephone. We were able to put together a Veloped Tour for me to try.

It arrived duly, perfectly packed, and turned out to be easy for me to assemble.
Then I went to work!

Over the past two months having worked with the Veloped, which I had named 'Thomas' (the tank engine), I can honestly say it has changed my world. From being someone in a wheelchair to someone who stands and engages with other people on their eye level again.
The Veloped has me walking upright again!

For shopping, a doctor's appointment, or just to go for a walk with friends for fun! In shopping centres, a park or sightseeing. I can take it into restaurants and theatres easily.

It will take from work from you, as you will have to practice on the Veloped daily, but you will find improvements in your capabilities daily.

For anyone living in the Netherlands, who wants to know and has one-sided paraplegia, I would be happy to share experiences. I am sure Stefan at Trionic can put us in contact.

A rollator for life. I found it for my daughter. It's called Walker 14 and it's impressive, big tires, not wheels!

  • Saw your ad in DN and thought...…

Saw your ad in DN and thought that the walker had to be seen in person. I was pleasantly surprised by your response and all the information I received and now I am the owner of the Rolls Royce of walkers. It looks heavy but it is light as a feather. …

This all-terrain walker allows me to walk, which I hadn't thought possible for a long time. At the turn of the year, I tested it extensively on the North Sea island of Baltrum, and I'm thrilled. Whether it's a hike on the beach or a photographic bird…

  • Super rollator…

Very nice model, smooth-running and robust.
Problem-free and fast delivery with good communication.

  • Field report after one year of use…

The advert and description in the brochure is 100% true. Nothing is exaggerated. Disadvantageous or not optimal are the tyres. The air escapes too fast. A severely handicapped person will then usually find it very difficult, because a petrol station …

  • How ever did I manage without this?!…

I am very pleased with my purchase of Trionic Veloped Trek. I was initially concerned as to how useful it would be as I needed something that would cope with nature reserves. I need not have worried, this copes with everything I throw at it - even d…
